Current funding is provided by the Department of Defense. Previous funding for the design and piloting of HomeFront Strong was provided by the Welcome Back Veterans Initiative, which includes the Robert R. McCormick Foundation and Major League Baseball Charities, and the Ethel & James Flinn Foundation. A recent grant from the Elizabeth Dole Foundation will support the development of a tele-group model to bring this program nationally to spouses who serve as caregivers to Post-9/11 veterans.
