{"id":1916,"date":"2022-03-21T15:16:08","date_gmt":"2022-03-21T15:16:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/m-span.org\/pave\/?page_id=1916"},"modified":"2024-01-24T14:52:30","modified_gmt":"2024-01-24T14:52:30","slug":"how-to-become-a-pave-partner-campus-via-licensing","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/m-span.org\/pave\/how-to-become-a-pave-partner-campus-via-licensing\/","title":{"rendered":"How to become a PAVE Partner Campus via licensing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are excited to continue to expand to additional schools!<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Selection criteria<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>In order to ensure that the schools selected are the right fit for the program, we have established the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Student veteran leadership buy-in to implement peer support on their campus<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Campus administration support for the PAVE program<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Staff and student capacity to implement PAVE<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Ability to identify and connect with incoming student veterans<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Additionally, we evaluate factors such as existing student veteran services and programming on campus, how active the SVA chapter or student veteran group is, and potential strengths and barriers to implementation.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Terms of partnership<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Schools selected to become PAVE Partner Campuses must agree to the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Attend a 1-day virtual training. Participants would include:\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\">Student Veteran selected as the PAVE Team Leader<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\">Veteran Services Coordinator who will implement and sustain the PAVE program on your campus<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><i>(optional) <\/i>University Champion (Assistant Dean, or comparable administrator from the Office of Student Affairs, Faculty Mentor, or Counselor from University Counseling Services)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Sign a brief contract with the University of Michigan that outlines the scope of the program, cost, and terms of use<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Agree to keep track of the number of student veterans who get services through the program, the concerns they identify, and the school resources used<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Be willing to secure arrangements with on and off campus resources for student veterans<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Licensing fees<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Cost for Year 1: $8,500<br \/>\nCost for Year 2 and each subsequent year: $5,500<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Learn more<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>If you\u2019d like to learn more about joining the PAVE Network, please email our Director, Dr. Michelle Kees (<a href=\"mailto:mkees@med.umich.edu\">mkees@med.umich.edu<\/a>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are excited to continue to expand to additional schools!
