PAVE and its presence at seven of the Big Ten schools was highlighted in an article by the Big Ten Network, which featured quotes from PAVE Program Manager Tim Nellett and University of Michigan Director of Military and Veteran Services Phil Larson.
 
“We kind of have a narrative, like, ‘OK, you’re never going to understand what it’s like to serve.’ At the core of it, that’s true,” he says. “At the same time, there’s a lot that veterans can learns from fellow students.
