Jim works hand-in-hand with the Peer Advisors and coaches them on the best practices when it comes to building a working relationship with the new incoming veteran-student population. Jim’s personal approach to building rapport with his Peer Advisors sets the tone for what is expected of these new Peer Advisors. Jim’s leadership by example is the key to success here at MSJC.”

I remember the feeling of being a new student who had just separated from the military and so I can relate to others in the same position. It was overwhelming to adjust and make that commitment. Now, I feel a sense of fulfillment when given the opportunity to give back and make a difference.”
