The camaraderie is something that many of us miss, and it has been a pleasure to help bring others back into that sense of community again. Getting the program to a state where we are bringing on other veterans to become Peer Advisors has been a fantastic experience. Forming a culture around helping each other has already paid off in ways I could never have imagined. We have recently trialed a campus-wide Discord group for veterans so we can all reach out to each other as easily as possible. The U-M-Flint campus is just a little bit closer together because of PAVE”
