November 2016 Team Leader of the Month: Andrew Hagerman, Bellarmine University

Photo of AndrewBellarmine University Team Leader Andrew Hagerman has done a great job motivating Peer Advisors, engaging different faculty and staff on campus, and going above and beyond to ensure a successful launch on Bellarmine’s campus. He is studying Psychology, serves as the president of his school’s SVA chapter, and previously served in the Army as an infantryman for 13 years. Andrew is pursuing a career in behavioral and cognitive health and works part-time as a behavioral specialist at an autism center. He plans to earn a Master’s degree in Clinical Behavioral Psychology and intends to continue working with children on the autism spectrum.

Andrew’s positive, can-do attitude and willingness to spend his time and energy growing and shaping PAVE at his school is already going a long way toward helping student veterans at Bellarmine. He has found that connecting with other student vets via texting, rather than emailing, has been particularly effective for him and his team and thinks that PAVE is helping to improve the lives of student vets at Bellarmine. Thanks for your hard work and dedication, Andrew!
